A part time temporary opportunity has become available for a Medical Call Centre Operator in a busy specialist practice. The position primarily involves providing quality customer service to all patients over the phones, high volume appointment booking and all other associated administration based tasks.

Responsibilities of the position:

  • Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive working environment
  • Answers telephone enquiries courteously, transfer’s calls politely, and gives accurate and careful answers
  • Coordinates appointments and undertakes all relating follow up tasks

The successful candidate will have a positive, caring personality, have excellent communication skills and be resilient both over the phone and when meeting patients. Selection Criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience working in the medical field
  • Consistently arrives at work, in professional and polished attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work under pressure
  • Hold a professional, mature and caring manner
  • Must have Genie Software experience
  • Have a high level of computer literacy and typing skills
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively in a positive team environment
  • Have a strong understanding of patient confidentiality
