This is a customer focused role supporting staff and students in educational delivery and operations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the maintenance and repairs of information technology, facilities and equipment
  • Assisting the facilities officer on administering maintenance
  • Assisting with the general administration of facilities tasks
  • Coordinating the day to day use of resources eg water and utilities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for contractors including monitoring and providing feedback on their performance
  • Ensuring the grounds, facilities and equipment are hazard free, clean and professionally presented
  • Undertaking Warden duties and be a key point of contact for first aid, emergency and safety

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of emergency management and Work Health and Safety (WH&S) procedures.
  • Ability to perform general maintenance duties.
  • Knowledge and understanding of government regulations relating to assets and fleet management processes.
  • Current drivers, forklift and bus licence or the ability to obtain them.
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the position description.
  • Candidates with cleared WWCC and Police checks will be desirable
