Our client has been supplying and repairing a broad range of glass products for over 25 years across Newcastle, Maitland, Lake Macquarie, Nelson Bay and Morisset. Servicing a diverse range of industries, they are entrepreneurial by nature and renowned for their quality workmanship

Reporting to the owner/director you will be responsible for the higher end functions of bookkeeping including the general ledger reconciliations, BAS, and management reporting, as well as being responsible for accounts payable and receivable, end to end payroll, debtor control, and bank reconciliations. You may also be required to assist the customer service team in answering the overflow of calls.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you are not only an experienced bookkeeper with a strong attention to detail and highly organized, but also an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills. You will also be experienced with payroll management and compliance with legislation including Workers Compensation, Superannuation /Payroll Tax etc.

Exposure to a number of accounting systems would be a distinct advantage, as would experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
