This role is responsible for the day to day management of the state wide revenue accounting function ensuring that the billing system is interfacing and reflecting correctly with the accounting system. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Reconciling between the two systems

• Month end accruals

• Reconciliation of revenue related accounts

• Contributing to month end reporting

• Monthly reconciliations of the Aged Trial Balance

• Preparation of General Ledger account reconciliations

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business and be CA or CPA qualified

• Extensive experience in managing a revenue accounting function from end to end

• Proven experience in the development of business plans, quality improvement, benchmarking and process design

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the use of financial computer systems preferably Oracle

• The ability to analyse and interpret complex information from multiple sources

• The ability to lead and develop the capability of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
